This article appeared in EMS World, August 2016 For the past five years, faculty of the Prehospital Care Program of LaGuardia Community College in New York City has studied the challenge of reducing the risk of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (P.T.S.D.) for patients served by emergency medical personnel.
